If the total value of your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand, you win an equal amount to what you have bet. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. The dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17. When you think that the dealer has blackjack, it gives you a chance to guard your bet. Once all players have decided to "Stand," the dealer reveals the face down card known as the "Hole" card. If the dealer's hand is between 17 and 21, he or she may not draw any additional card.
