Online Casino Games Blackjack Game
In Blackjack, the objective is to try to beat the dealer by getting closer to 21. If the total value of your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand, you win an equal amount to what you have bet. Standard 52-card deck. Face cards (kings, queens and jacks) count as 10, ace counts as one or 11 (as the player chooses) and all other cards are counted at their face value. Because you can play an Ace either way, a hand with an ace is called a soft hand. if the dealer has a blackjack, it is a standoff, as are all ties or pushes. A winning blackjack pays the player 3 to 2. HIT or STAND - Hit means to draw another card (which the player signifies by scraping the table with his cards or a similar hand motion) Hit - If you are not pleased with the total of your first two cards, you can draw additional card(s) until you stand or bust. SPLITTING PAIRS - If the first two cards a player is dealt are a pair, he may split them into two separate hands, bet the same amount on each and then play them separately. After splitting, A-10 counts as 21 and not as blackjack. INSURANCE - If the dealer's up card is an ace, the player may take insurance, a bet not exceeding one-half his original bet. Note that at many online casinos, if you split two aces, you get only one additional card for each hand. When you split two aces and one of your hands totals 21, this is not blackjack, it's 21. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. Insurance is not recommended and is considered a separate game/bet of its own. When you think that the dealer has blackjack, it gives you a chance to guard your bet. Once all players have decided to "Stand," the dealer reveals the face down card known as the "Hole" card. The insurance bet would be at the price of half your original bet. If the dealer has blackjack, the insurance pays 2:1, matching the amount of your original bet.
