Gaming Blackjack Strategies
Blackjack is probably the most popular of all casino and online casino games primarily due to the fact that, when played correctly, the odds of winning are about even with the house. He does this by placing his bet in the designated space in front of his table position. The dealer then deals two cards to each of the players, and two to himself (one of the dealer's cards is dealt face up and one is dealt facing down) Players and Personnel One dealer - Handles all of the cards and chip exchanges. If you have the same card total as the dealer, from 17 and up, you get your bet back in a push as neither have won. If your hand beats the dealer's hand, you win. Double Down - Your bet is doubled and you draw only one more card. After splitting, A-10 counts as 21 and not as blackjack. INSURANCE - If the dealer's up card is an ace, the player may take insurance, a bet not exceeding one-half his original bet. Each card in Blackjack has a certain value. Any other card means a win for the dealer. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. The dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17. Player's add the value of their cards and either decide to "Stick" or "Stand" with their current cards or receive another card, called a "Hit" or "Draw," hopefully raising their total closer to 21 without going over. Once all players have decided to "Stand," the dealer reveals the face down card known as the "Hole" card. Surrender is not offered at very many online casinos. When surrender is available, if you are not pleased with the cards you were dealt, you may give them up and lose half of your bet.
