Before any cards are dealt, the player must wager. Standard 52-card deck. Aces have a value of either 1 or 11, face cards as 10 and the cards that are left are valued as their face numbers. Depending on the game, the player's are either dealt their cards face up or face down. Card between 2 and 10 simply have their face value regardless of suit. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. When you think that the dealer has blackjack, it gives you a chance to guard your bet. Once all players have decided to "Stand," the dealer reveals the face down card known as the "Hole" card. The insurance bet would be at the price of half your original bet. Surrender is not offered at very many online casinos.
