Gambling Blackjack Strategies
Before any cards are dealt, the player must wager. The dealer then deals two cards to each of the players, and two to himself (one of the dealer's cards is dealt face up and one is dealt facing down) BLACKJACK - If the player's first two cards are an ace and a 10 or face card, he wins. A winning blackjack pays the player 3 to 2. The dealer must draw cards until they have at least 17 and must stand at 17 or higher. Hit - If you are not pleased with the total of your first two cards, you can draw additional card(s) until you stand or bust. Players place their bets prior to the cards being dealt. SPLITTING PAIRS - If the first two cards a player is dealt are a pair, he may split them into two separate hands, bet the same amount on each and then play them separately. Aces receive only one additional card. Depending on the game, the player's are either dealt their cards face up or face down. Note that at many online casinos, if you split two aces, you get only one additional card for each hand. Any other card means a win for the dealer. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. The dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17. Play and win! If the dealer has blackjack, the insurance pays 2:1, matching the amount of your original bet. Surrender is not offered at very many online casinos.
