In Blackjack, the objective is to try to beat the dealer by getting closer to 21. Let's take a look at the basic rules of play. The dealer then deals two cards to each of the players, and two to himself (one of the dealer's cards is dealt face up and one is dealt facing down) Standard blackjack table seating either 5 or seven players. BLACKJACK - If the player's first two cards are an ace and a 10 or face card, he wins. Blackjack beats a count of 21. Stand means no more cards (which the player signals by placing his cards under his wager or moving his hand in a horizontal direction. If your hand beats the dealer's hand, you win. Players place their bets prior to the cards being dealt. SPLITTING PAIRS - If the first two cards a player is dealt are a pair, he may split them into two separate hands, bet the same amount on each and then play them separately. Aces receive only one additional card. After splitting, A-10 counts as 21 and not as blackjack. Note that at many online casinos, if you split two aces, you get only one additional card for each hand. Card between 2 and 10 simply have their face value regardless of suit. Note that at some online casinos, you cannot split a split hand. The dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17. You can play Blackjack either for fun (Fun Play) or for real money (Real Play) Play and win! The insurance bet would be at the price of half your original bet. If the dealer has blackjack, the insurance pays 2:1, matching the amount of your original bet. Surrender is not offered at very many online casinos.
